to the Hill Country Hyatt

A couple of my favorite people (my mother-in-law and sister-in-law) and I have been wanting to catch up and just be refreshed by each other. I like that word, "refresh", especially in the summertime.
This was Pam's idea of entertainment for night #1. "Bananagram". We decided we would not be voted "most likely to succeed" at this one. BUT, we did give it a shot.
I marveled at their ability (especially Mom's) to bring so many beautiful things to wear...for 2 days. See my stash to the far left, Pam's is in the middle, Mom's apparel is to the far right. 'nuf said.
We spent one whole day sitting by the pool. NICE. We ordered lunch poolside. NICE. We held refreshing drinks in our hands as we floated around the lazy river. NICE.
Just when it could not get nicer...it did. We went to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. The next day was devoted to very serious shopping at the Outlet Mall in San Marcos. I had a mission: buy only very colorful tops that were really, really good deals. Mission accomplished. I won't share pix. They might be incriminating.
We spent the evening visiting the sweetest little girls on the planet: Meg and Annie. More pix to be added on that visit later!
Then, to top it off, this handsome fella met us for dinner at my very favorite Mexican food place, Maudie's...Nothing like a mom and her son.
Unless it's a brother and his little sister!
That was a ton of fun!
all i'm saying is that you better take me along next time!!
