The best is yet to come!

I have thoroughly enjoyed each stage of my life, but I've got to say that these mid-life years are really, really nice. Thanks for stopping by to check on this Austin Nana. I like the real thing, though, so come on! Drop by for a coffee date with me sometime soon.

My new best friend...

Crescent Rolls.

My other new best friend, Judy, introduced this recipe to our small group on Sunday night. I halved the recipe.

The pictures are kinda backwards, so bear with me!

Place 1/2 can of crescent rolls in the bottom of a square pan.
Layer thinly sliced ham, salami and provolone cheese.
In the middle layer of roasted red bell pepper.
More layers of ham, salami and cheese.
Mix up 3 eggs and some parmesan cheese. Pour over all layers.
Add last half of crescent rolls and bake at 350 about 30-40 minutes.

List of ingredients for 1/2 recipe:
1 can of crescent rolls
1/4 pound each of ham, salami and provolone cheese, thinly sliced
1 jar of red bell pepper
3 eggs and 1/4 cup of parmesan

So, so good!
