beach dreams


I got this idea about going to the beach w/ my 'girls' in OCTOBER. It turned out to be really nice weather in Galveston at Pointe West. We stayed in a condo named "BEACH DREAMS"...Kristen and her 2 little ones took over the master bedroom and Tamera and I shared the 2nd bedroom. Tamera is my 22 year old 'baby' and I must say she has really improved at her bedsharing etiquette. I don't think she moved all night long. I don't really know, because I hardly moved all night long! Something about that fresh ocean air!

Kristen is quite the creative mom and this was her themed lunch for Annie on the way down. Isn't that cute?

As soon as we (finally!) arrived, we headed out to kick up some sand. Kristen and Meg in the foreground. Tamera and Annie behind.


We stayed 4 days/3 nights. Plenty of time to soak up some sunshine with Minnie Mouse as our guest.
Of course, I'm the early riser (and early to bed)...so I had the joy of watching the sun come up each morning. Holding Annie in my lap. Nothing much sweeter.

    How fun for you girls to have a get away together. Nothin' like some girl time for a lot of R&R. I am guessing your left behind guys got some R&R too!
