The best is yet to come!

I have thoroughly enjoyed each stage of my life, but I've got to say that these mid-life years are really, really nice. Thanks for stopping by to check on this Austin Nana. I like the real thing, though, so come on! Drop by for a coffee date with me sometime soon.

Legoland, Grapevine

Legoland tips...just read Tripadvisor before you go!
DO buy tickets online the day before for earliest time slot. We got the 2nd time slot at 10:15.

Cool smallish water splash pad outside. Lots of season ticket holders take advantage of this, I'm sure. We did not.

It's in the Grapevine outlet mall, which is great if you plan to do some shopping. Be aware that you may have to look hard for parking if you arrive later in the day.

The whole thing starts off with a 'tour' by a wacky professor. The kids loved this and how he explained the process of making legos. Tyler and Annie were both chosen as 'demo' helpers. They were super pleased about that. :)

Mini Legoland City WAS super cool.

There are about 3 'rides' to take advantage of!
All appropriate for these kids. I really liked that there were no more 'extra' fees inside. The kids meal was $10 each, so we left to hit up Chik Filet. We wanted those frozen lemonades anyway.

If you define success this way (see below)...This was a great trip!

  1. I'm gonna have to tell my boss about this place. Her boys love Lego's.
    Sounds like a cool place.
