The best is yet to come!

I have thoroughly enjoyed each stage of my life, but I've got to say that these mid-life years are really, really nice. Thanks for stopping by to check on this Austin Nana. I like the real thing, though, so come on! Drop by for a coffee date with me sometime soon.

Building a Home

Last week our youngest sent us a questionnaire to complete for her premarital counseling class. I loved the questions and wanted to pick a few to share. I hope if any of you have time, you will send me YOUR answers.

If you could keep just one memory or experience in your married life, what would it be and why?

If you could give me just one piece of advice about marriage based on what you did (right or wrong ) what would it be and why?

  1. 1. My hubby can be pretty hard headed but when I or my daughter are sick he's right there to nurse us. He's a better nurse than I. ;o)
    2. Best advice is be open, communicate and know you are allowed "me" time and so is he. Both parties need to be willing to compromise without feeling bullied. I guess that more than one piece but oh well. 33 years and still counting

  2. 1. A week in the Canary Islands with no blackberry...
    2. Never commit to yourself that the OTHER person should apologize first, if it hasn't happened in three hours, go ahead and do it first.
