Pre WEDDING Recap Friday night and Saturday morning

So hard to believe that it's been 2 weeks since the wedding weekend. I just want to recap how much fun we really, really had. I wish I had more photos of extended family, but I'm hoping that the photographer captured many of the special family and friends in our lives.

Friday night, June 2, we all met out at Mandola's in Lakeway. I chose this one because of the convenience of a playscape just adjacent to the restaurant. WE are all pretty crazy about the newest baby in the family. I may have captured as many pictures of her as I did the happy couple!

Here she is with her Papa and her Gran.

So, so happy to have our Patrick and family home! He was able to stay a week, then headed back 'down under'. K and the kids headed to South Carolina to visit her family.

We got lots of talking and laughing and just being together time in.

These two really reconnected in a big way.

Kristen loved getting her baby niece snuggle time in.

I have to say, the occasion was such a sweet one to be all together for. I loved, loved seeing my kids and their kids just enjoying each other! More to come.

Big Top and South Congress

Yesterday was a lot of fun. I told the girls I really, really wanted to take the kids to the Big Top Candy Shop on South Congress and they all bought into the idea. Mr. T wasn't so sure about the smells. AT FIRST. ( I get that way about  Yankee Candle Store...yuk) BUT, he quickly recovered when we moved past the taffy to the good stuff at the back of the store.

no prewedding jitters here!

Thought I'd post a few prewedding shots! This is Friday night at Mandola's Italian Bistro out near Hill Country Galleria. It was such a nice evening. After eating our yummy food we headed out to the playground that is attached to the side of Mandola's. 

Here's the cute couple!  Hanging out with 3 of the 4 nieces and nephews. Baby G was there in someone's arms! :)
